Where ads run, and what they cost
Floor prices are the minimum a bid must clear. Auction placements settle at second price, so what you actually pay is usually below your bid. Bookable placements are sold at a flat daily rate and beat the auction outright.
How the auction settles
Every eligible campaign is ranked by expected revenue per thousand impressions — a CPM bid as-is, a CPC bid multiplied by its observed click-through rate. The winner pays one µT more than it needed to beat the runner-up, floored at the placement's minimum and capped at their own bid.
What you are billed for
An impression counts only after the unit has been at least half visible for a full second. A click is billed once, no matter how many times the link is followed. Both are metered against a signed, single-use token issued at auction time, so neither a page nor a bot can invent spend on your account.
